With regards to our business expansion in Romania, we are looking for a Accounting and Finance professional, with the following main responsibilities:
- Process information from the company’s commercial software to compile accounting data.
- Post income, expense invoices, and bank movements.
- Prepare monthly reports, including BNR (National Bank of Romania) reports.
- Analyze and process financial data.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners.
- Prepare accounting entries for purchases and expenses.
- Assist in monthly tax and internal reporting.
- Contribute to annual, interim, and group financial reporting for consolidation.
- Facilitate reporting obligations to authorities and stakeholders.
- Provide financial analysis to support accounting, tax, and business decisions.
- Participate in analyzing and optimizing processes and procedures for improved accuracy and efficiency in accounting.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with local teams, accounting companies, and management regarding tax, accounting, and other matters.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of related financial and accounting experience, preferably gained in Audit or a similar fast-paced environment.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles.
- Excellent command of English and Romanian, both verbal and written.
- Possess an analytical mindset that goes beyond the ordinary.
- Ability to read and interpret various laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility, honesty, and open communication.
- Proactive individual with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Excel skills.
- To be ready to train, travel, and transfer knowledge between the company’s branches;

The position is based in our office, located in Bucharest, and is permanent full-time employment. Up to 30% of your monthly work time could be done remotely.
